Inspired Pilot Podcast
This will be a show where I interview inspiring pilots, pilots with inspiring journeys from all around the world. Each episode I will highlight the life of our featured pilot, follow their journey and how they got to where they are now. We’ll examine how and why they got started, the decisions made along the way, experiences gained and lessons learned. All this with the view to INSPIRE seasoned pilots, mere mortal relatively lower hour pilots like myself, wannabe pilots and pilot enthusiasts alike, by guests sharing their inspiring journeys. Just to give you an example of the spectrum of our guests, we are going to be talking to pilots from all areas of the aviation industry, from airline pilots, bush pilots, flight instructors, private pilots, bizjet, military and even retired pilots.
Pilot to Pilot Podcast
Created in 2017 by Justin Siems. Justin has over 4,000 flying hours and is an ATP rated pilot flying a Citation Latitude. To build his time, Justin flew aerial survey and was a freight dog flying the mighty Pilatus PC12. The podcast was started when Justin’s wife told him to find a way to give back to the aviation community. Since 2017 Pilot to Pilot has turned into one of the most popular and listened to aviation podcasts. The ultimate goal for the Pilot to Pilot podcast is to be a place for aviators to come for inspiration and encouragement. We aim to help all types of aviators to continue pursuing their aviation dreams, whether that be flying commercially or flying for fun.
The Fighter Pilot Podcast
Hello! My name is Vincent Aiello, callsign “Jell-O” (more on callsigns in episode 2), and this is The Fighter Pilot Podcast, the internet radio show that explores the fascinating world of air combat. Before retiring from the Navy in early 2017 I knew it was important to find a way to stay connected to the profession that so indelibly shaped my life. I also realized there must be a lot of people out there who would love to know more about what it’s like in the world of combat aviation but might never have an opportunity to find out, short of a chance encounter with a military pilot. The Fighter Pilot Podcast seeks to satisfy both.
The Finer Points
The Finer Points is about excellence. As pilots we strive to not merely fly, but to become excellent aviators. As an instructor I work to create the most efficient and effective training experience. I often tell my students that I have two goals for them: one is that they pass the check ride on the first attempt, and the second is that they never die in an airplane. I believe those two goals are one and the same. Over the last 20 years I have worked to refine the art of flight instruction, working to understand where and when to employ various tools of teaching. As a company we are driven to optimize our performance in everything we do and to never slow in the pursuit of that perfection. We find focus in the guiding principle that what we do must be excellent—both the result and the experience of getting there.
