VirtualFlight.Online operates a simple rank system based on hours logged.

How the Rank Structure Impacts You

Each tour and fleet aircraft type is assigned a minimum rank. As you log more hours, you increase in rank and more tours, aircraft, and scheduled routes become available to you. Visit the fleet page for more information on fleet aircraft types.

Displaying your Callsign and Rank in Discord

The va-onboarding channel is your central hub to let moderators know you have updated your nickname with Discord to reflect your callsign, or attained a rank within the VirtualFlight.Online virtual airline. In response, they will assign roles within Discord, which will be shown against your user profile, and in member lists.

Update your nickname to access the private Virtual Airline channels

If you are a member of the virtual airline, we would prefer that you change your nickname within the discord server to reflect your callsign within the airline (e.g. VFL0100 Jonathan). Create a topic to let the moderators know you have done so, and they will assign you the role of "Virtual Airline Pilot" within Discord - which will open up the private "Virtual Airline" group of channels for you.

We will do the rest.

Update your airline rank in Discord

After changing your nickname, you can request that your airline rank is displayed within Discord (or request it be updated as you progress through the ranks).

When a request has been dealt with, we will message you and close the request.
